Please join Emily and Adam on July 30, 2016 as we celebrate our wedding at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
Adam's Story
Adam was born on Long Island and evenly split his first eighteen years between Bayside, Queens, and Jericho, a town a bit further east in Oyster Bay. He attended Kenyon to study film and biology, but quickly dropped biology to focus on film. Adam is now a post production supervisor in New York City, managing projects in broadcast television and documentary film.
Emily's Story
Emily grew up in the land of cows, colleges, and contentment. At eighteen, she exchanged the cornfields of Minnesota for the cornfields of Ohio to attend Kenyon College. There she logged miles along the Kokosing and hours in the library (and possibly a few beverages in the basement of Old Kenyon). Fast forward a few graduate degrees and zipcodes, and she now works as a middle and high school history teacher in New London, Connecticut
Our Relationship
Emily and Adam met in 2004 thanks to Kenyon College's Office of Res Life, who placed them on the same freshman hall (Longside McBride 4lyfe!). They immediately became friends, with Emily taking advantage of Adam's patience for late-night conversations as well as his extensive movie collection. Their real story doesn't pick up until four years after college in New York City, when Emily showed up at a party in Adam's Bushwick loft. Four years, three states, and five apartments later, Adam popped the question along the reservoir in Central Park.
